Wreckers celebrated their 15th birthday with a weekend of dancing, music and song.  We were blessed with good weather and many teams came to join us, namely,  OBJ, Enigma, Hobos, Tywardreath, Priston, Somerset Morris, Beltane and Borderline.

The weekend was based on a farm in the village of Hatt, near Saltash, starting on Friday evening with a splendid meal provided by the Lions Club of Saltash. The evening was rounded off with a good old sing song and music session.

On Saturday, Coaches took our guests to Restormel Castle, courtesy of English Heritage; where we danced in the keep: then we went on to the old fishing and cargo port town of Fowey, dancing on the quay.  We rounded the dancing day off in the sunny seaside town of Looe dancing at different locations in the town.  The evening was spent at the farm with a splendid meal and a ceilidh with many and varied performances!

On Sunday, we went to our spiritual home of Kingsand and Cawsand on the Rame Peninsula. We started our walking tour at the Rising Sun then onto the Devonport Inn, on to the Halfway House and ended in Cawsand Square for the afternoon. Our guests and us danced in the square until we all collapsed in a heap!  And we are glad to say the pub didn't run out of beer!
